Weihnachtsgrüße aus Mount Rosary

Hier kommen Weihnachtsgrüße und Wünsche für das kommende Jahr von Schwester Prescilla D’Mello von ganz Mount Rosary:

My dear friends of Mount Rosary,

On behalf of our Founder, Msgr. Edwin C. Pinto, all the sisters, Helpers of Mount Rosary and the Residents of Mount Rosary, the elderly, sick and destitute, I wish you Merry Christmas and a Grace filled year 2019.

Christmas is the time to touch every heart with love and care and it is a time to remember all of you who are our wellwishers, friends, benefactors and who think about us every day and offer prayers for us. You are the one who walk with us an extra mile in realizing our mission, sharing from your spiritual and material resources which has contributed to the growth of our Institution and Congregation.

Today, in a special way I thank you for the manifold ways through which you brought blessings to Mount Rosary throughout the year 2018 and I assure you of our prayers during this joyful Eucharistic celebration of Christmas and in the year 2019. May the new born Babe of Bethlehem fill your heart with warmth and love. May His mother, Queen of the Rosary intercede for you and take care of all your intentions. May you enjoy good health, God’s blessings and all your wishes come true.

Yesterday, when we were about to distribute our kuswar (Weihnachtsgebäck) to our aged people in the Institutions, one elderly man came asking for shelter in the Institution. He has nobody to take care in his life, he said. He has health problems too. We accepted him and he was so joyful. Tears came from his eyes. I remembered the words of Jesus: ”When I was weary, you helped me, find rest.”

Our Mount Rosary Hospital Extension Project is also coming up. This morning we cast the first floor slab. Please remember this project in your prayers. It is a big project for the people of Moodbidri to have all the health facilities and health services by the Sisters, Helpers of Mount Rosary.

Thanking you once again and wishing you Merry Christmas.

Yours sincerely
Sr. Prescilla D’Mello
